Bachelor of Arts graduate from Columbia College (NY City) in Physics. Master of Arts and PhD graduate of Yale University in Applied Physics and Engineering.
Research & Development manager for Xerox and AT&T for 15 years prior to founding American Superior Company. Recipient of six U.S. patents in xerography and ink jet printing.
Professional Investment Advisor for the past 28 years. Investment research and portfolio management for 38 years.
Active participant in national and local groups promoting investment and financial literacy. Vice-President and Board Member of the Chicago Chapter of AAII for 15 years. Former publisher of the Superior Stock Selector market letter. Lecturer in investor education and self-help for 20 years. Author of numerous monographs on investment topics.
Passed the Illinois Investment Advisor Exam (1984), the NASD Series 2 Exam (1995) and the NASD Series 65 Exam (2010). Approved as an Investment Advisor Principal in Nevada, Illinois and Florida.
Previously, Adjunct Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology and elected member of the Skokie District #68 School Board.
Married 43 years. Resident of Reno, Nevada since 2011. Former resident of Chicago, IL suburbs for 34 years.
